The materials have the aim to help teachers in their work with children on of HR thematic. Some of the paragraphs that contained materials in human rights field, games, articles, and essays were selected. All resources are useful for the daily work of the NGOs/teachers and children for promoting their rights in community/schools. After the Informational Set was completed the 3 editions with 1000 copies each were published. Here are some of the children’s essays: „Love toward your neighbour” Author: Dumitru Macovei, the 8th „C” degree The way adults treat children shows the level of humanity in the world. Children were and still are exploited. The abuses faced by many of them on the daily base are a serious threat of Human Rights. The majority of states adopted lows which encourage communities to support the child and his family. Children have rights anywhere they are: home, substitutive families, special needs institutions or schools. All children are equal. It doesn’t depend on what color does he/she have, what kind of nationality or ethnicity he/she have, what language does he/she speaks and so on. Child has the right to have a family, a name/surname and a nationality. Every state has to guarantee and to assure free access to information and education for all children. Children are free to get and to give the information which corresponds with their interests. Each child has the right to be protected against exploitation and he/she can’t be forced to do something that represents a risk for him/her. If there rights are violated, children are exposed to the big risks. All citizens have the responsibility to prevent the violation of children rights and to promote alternative services. “I’m a child and don’t forget that I can’t grow with out yours encouragements and understanding. Treat me like your friend and I’ll be your friend. Don’t forget that, I learn a lot of things from a model than from a critic. And…desire that... I love you so much, please love me”. „EVERY CHILD HAS RIGHTS” Author: Cristi Ursan, 1st „A” degree Each child has its own rights. Children have the right to play, to learn, to love and to be loved, but the most important thing for a child is his/her right to a family, with out a family nobody is happy and has nothing. Family offers to us love and support. Children rights shouldn’t be aggressed or ignored. We, children, love to play with little animals and similar adults have to help us to be friends including with our neighbors. Public awareness was raised about Human Rights in target communities (5), through local mass-media, National Radio. Projects’ results:
Projects’ impact: The general culture of HR in the society was promoted. The social theatre performance as innovatory methodology in the field Human Rights Education was implemented. As result a better quality and increased work capacity through social theatre performances was obtained. Sustainability: Trained children in social theatre will play representations in other schools. As first step in that direction was done already on 19 October 2006 at „Ana Munteanu” lyceum from Ialoveni town. GTZ expressed the interest to support further an awareness campaign on prevention of the HR violations. Conferences, trainings, social theatre campaign, publications and public awareness activities through mass media were planed and performed, having long last influences on the HR perception among our target audience and in whole society.
